Safana’s interest in dentistry began at a young age. From around seven years old, she found herself noticing people’s teeth, their smiles and the way a smile could change the appearance of a face.

As someone who also enjoys painting, Safana found herself increasingly drawn to dentistry once she began practising. For her, dentistry brings together the creativity of art with the detail and science of healthcare.

Her favourite part of being a dentist is the variety that comes with the profession — meeting different people every day, providing hands-on care and helping patients manage dental concerns.

She values practical, thoughtful dentistry and aims to help patients feel informed, comfortable and supported throughout their care.
