Dr Jessica Lee graduated from the University of Otago with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and spent six years practising general dentistry across Northland and Wellington, New Zealand. With a love of both science and creativity, Jessica enjoys the precision of dentistry as well as the opportunity to get to know her patients and support them throughout their oral health journey.
From a young age, Jessica was fascinated by both science and art. Dentistry became a natural fit — bringing together biology, precision and creativity within one profession.
Her favourite part of dentistry is building relationships with her patients. She enjoys taking the time to understand the individual, helping them understand their oral health and being part of their ongoing care.
Jessica also values continued professional development and enjoys continually refining her knowledge and clinical skills.
Outside DDC, Jess is definitely more of a tea person than a coffee person, although she won’t say no to an iced latte. After a long day, her go-to takeaway is stir-fried ribs. If she could invent a toothpaste flavour, she would choose Fresh Linen — classic, clean and comforting.
